anouncing a really good commercial alternative to Adobe® Flash Media Server. The Wowza Media Server employs the Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) to deliver true streaming of Flash video, audio and data over the Internet to the Adobe Flash Player. It was architected to give the Flash community a flexible, feature rich, developer-friendly and cost effective platform for the deployment of a wide range of applications, including Video on Demand, live video distribution, video recording and chat.
